Your Eye Doctor in Columbia, MO

The eye doctors at Family Focus Eyecare, Dr. Joseph D. Rich and Dr. Lee Ann Barrett, specialize in treating the entire family – from 6 months old thru senior vision care. Our Columbia, MO optometrists offer diverse frame lines and family-friendly atmosphere. We provide total eyecare from eye exams to lens fittings all in one place.

While finding the correct glasses or contact lenses for your vision, style, and budget, we also hope to build a relationship with you, our patients. At Family Focus Eyecare, our eye doctors don’t focus on a number or quota – we focus on what is best for you and your family. Our comprehensive eye exams aim to both prevent and diagnose eye disease and conditions, while simultaneously enhancing vision, comfort, and convenience. Our goal is for all of our patients to have a lifetime of pristine vision that looks great and patients are proud to wear.

Optometry, Eyecare, & Eye Exams

Our eye exams are more than just a quick spin of a few dials and a puff of air – a true eye exam, like the ones performed at Family Focus Eyecare, includes:

  • – Collecting a detailed medical history
  • – Testing of neuro functions
  • – Visual acuity
  • – Refraction
  • – Examination of motility function, peripheral vision, and color detection
  • – Pressure measurements
  • – Ocular health

Child Optometrist & Children’s Eye Exams

Eyecare is just one item on your children’s long lists of medical needs, but a very important one. As a parent or caregiver, you need to know why child eyecare is important, the warning signs that your child may need glasses, and what an eye exam for kids does for your child.

Family Focus Eyecare optometrists specialize in treating the entire family. We offer a full range of optometry products including vision exams, contact lenses, designer eyeglasses, and prescription sunglasses. We also treat a wide variety of vision ailments, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic issues, cataracts, eye injuries, and eye infections.
